The near-perfect world of old fast-food ads

Given the recent surges in obesity, ads like this KFC classic from 1980 are strangely quaint. Which makes sense, as those were more innocent times. Pac-Man and CNN were new, I hadn’t been born yet, and Richard Pryor was still alive and extending his act another few years by setting himself on fire during an attempt to freebase cocaine.
