So The Apprentice is back, and so are all the piggyback campaigns. This morning, in our half-asleep state, we got to idly wondering about this banner ad (part of a wider banner than shows his Trumpness as well): Is it possible that people are actually getting fired via instant messenger? We remember reading a few years back about the growing popularity of firing via e-mail—a problem prevalent enough to inspire the occasional cartoon and entries in what-not-to-do stories about e-mail etiquette. Considering the growing popularity of IM at work, can the first spate of IM dismissals be far off?
