SNL hasn’t been doing many advertising spoofs so far this season, but last night they went one better—creating a trio of vintage advertising spoofs, as part of a fun Ad Council skit.

Host Larry David played an adman—with a Jeff Goodby-esque ponytail and all—being honored with a lifetime achievement award for a career of purportedly outstanding PSAs. But as soon as some of his 30-year-old spots begin to screen at the Ad Council dinner, the room is suddenly horrified by them.
