Kiyan Prince was a gifted athlete, an up-and-coming soccer star—but he was more than that. He “saw the humor in everything and always looked on the bright side,” said his father, Mark Prince. He was kind. He made the outsiders at school feel included.

“Because he was such a strong character and leader, he could change a match just by coming onto the pitch. Even if they didn’t win, the coach would say that the whole team’s morale was lifted just by Kiyan’s presence,” Mark Prince told Adweek.
