Nike might not be any closer to releasing Marty McFly’s badass shoes, but now the McFly 2015 Project might have Kanye West on their side. His trademark bear is sporting a pair of similar sneakers on the cover of his Graduation album. As the picture suggests, you can add “escaping the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test” to the sneakers’ list of awesome potential uses. And since the shoe design was actually patented in 1990 — and aren’t just the pipe dream of Back to the Future II’s superfans — there’s a chance that celebrity endorsements like this one might help the cause.
