A territorial dispute between Japan and South Korea over two islands in the Sea of Japan has led South Korea to … ban Japanese condom ads from the subways in Seoul. We have no idea how those two things are related, either, but we’ll chalk it up to nationalistic sentiment. A spokesman for Seoul Metro candidly chalks the decision up to “an anti-Japanese sentiment brewing among citizens,” as well as a general dislike of condom ads.
