Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano and its giant cloud of ash have made life difficult for thousands of air travelers across Europe. But Icelandair refuses to apologize for the country's volatile natural wonders. The carrier is continuing to use the photo above—showing people enjoying a volcanic bath—in ads on the New York City subway and on the homepage of the airline's website. They've yet to do a full-on volcano-themed TV spot, but there are plenty of those out there, too.
