Chevy’s relationship with the CBS drama Cane has always been a tad overbearing, but Tuesday night’s gaffe was certainly not an example of seamless integration. Chevy’s new ad for the Silverado, which references a scene from the show, aired before the original scene did. It only prompted one irritated response from a viewer, but I imagine fans are used to Chevy’s presence. It features prominently in the show, its logo festoons the show’s Web site, and I hear they rebuild Jimmy Smits every three weeks, free of charge.
