The film starts with a simple question. “Ever called a girl ‘doll’?” a young man says, staring straight into the camera.

Then other men appear on screen, asking questions that grow increasingly uncomfortable: “Ever stared at a woman on the bus?”

“You ever guilt tripped her? Or pressured her? Or pushed her into it?”

Their questions culminate with a searing indictment directed at their peers: “Most men don’t look in the mirror and see a problem, but it’s staring us right in the face… Sexual violence starts long before you think it does.
