Norwegian international footballer Erling Braut Haaland is being celebrated in his homeland through an advertising spot that features a place where everyone is just like him, while poking fun at the world’s ignorance of Norway.

Created for state-funded lottery operator Norsk Tipping (The National Norwegian Betting Company) by creative agency Try in Oslo, “Welcome to Haaland” is one of series of three ads that aims to make fun of the world’s lack of awareness around both Norway and one of its biggest sporting heroes, Haaland, who is a striker for Borussia Dortmund in Germany.
