Golden State Warriors Thank Steph Curry’s Mouthguard, and Everyone Else, for Their Latest Title

This one's for the fans (and the dogs)

Enough about Kevin Durant. It’s time to show some love for Dance Cam Mom!
The Golden State Warriors beat LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday to win their second NBA championship in three years. And a new ad by Goodby Silverstein & Partners says thank you in a funny montage aimed squarely at those who matter most—the fans.
It’s not just about your average spectator, though. This short is full of Easter egg clips featuring Durant’s mom, Klay Thompson’s dog and Steph Curry’s best friend, his ever-present mouthguard.

While Nike and Wieden + Kennedy went a bit more serious with an anti-hater homage to KD on the occasion of his first championship, this effort is pure fun from GS&P, which also designed the team’s logo and other visual branding elements.
The ad was produced by e-Level Editorial, the agency’s in-house production studio.
For the record, even Curry’s mom thinks the germ-ridden mouthguard is gross. But he claims to shoot at least 2 percent better from the free throw line when chewing on it.
