You’re not a holiday superhero unless you give expensive digital gifts from RadioShack. That’s not the explicit message of this seasonal campaign from Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners, but it’s how I choose to interpret it. What, is Christmas nothing more than a celebration of crass commercialism these days? When did that happen? Anyway, the ads—featuring gift-givers transformed into comic-book-style crusaders and (in a couple of spots after the jump) Lance Armstrong looking a lot like Hugh Hefner—are OK, but can’t compare to the Shack’s inspired Christmas 2009 musical stuff.
