I guess I'm a little obsessed with this Hot Wheels thing. As mentioned in Thursday's Ad of the Day story, Mattel is building a giant replica of an orange Hot Wheels ramp at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and will send a life-size version of a Hot Wheels car careening down it just hours before the Indy 500 a week from Sunday. Picking up speed, the car will shoot down a straightaway and then attempt a new world-record jump by a four-wheel vehicle.
