Gambling does not enslave you, it frees you

Ad agency Cactus posits that winning the Colorado Powerball jackpot would break the chains of dreary, workaday depression. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 146 million. Hmmm, that's almost a sure thing. If you buy a lottery ticket in Denver, you might as well just quit your job. It's rougher in Minnesota, where the odds are 1 in 175 million, and they know big-time winners will just blow their coin on crap. Maybe the guy in the Cactus spot is really just manacled to his gambling addiction. If so, he should try Las Vegas, where the rewards are eternal. Plus, Denver seems kind of dangerous, with those giant lottery orbs crashing down from the sky. I guess balls and chains go together.
