Tiffany & Co. slobbers all over New York City with its new website that highlights Manhattan's romantic possibilities. The site launch included a short film by Edward Burns called "Will You Marry Me?" in which a surprisingly diverse array of couples talk about their lives together. The film lays it on a little thick, but I guess it's nice to know that disgusting sappiness crosses so many social/cultural boundaries. Why is it always New York, though? Manhattan smells like hot garbage all summer long, so pardon me if I'm not totally convinced it's the most romantic place on earth.
