For bilingual communities, the use of their native languages in their everyday life is normal. However, the continued discrimination against Spanish speakers has made it more difficult to not only speak the language publicly, but also to navigate certain platforms and standard activities.

In an effort to authentically connect with the Latinx community, delivery brand DoorDash launched its first-ever Spanish & English multi-platform marketing campaign titled “Antojo.” The creative campaign is based off of the idea that cravings are a common experience across all cultures, but “antojos”—which translates to “strong feelings” or “cravings” from Spanish—are a part of the way Latinx people live life.
