Corning’s Glass Video Shatters Expectations

In one of those weird twists of viral fate, a six-minute corporate video aimed at large-scale investors has become a mainstream YouTube sensation.

Now with more than 8 million views, "A Day Made of Glass" was created by Corning and its agency, Doremus, "to inspire largely Corning's big investors as to the applications of glass into electronics and into our everyday lives," an agency rep tells Marketing Daily.

The premise sounds dry, but as you can see below, the result is slick, engaging and believable.
