A San Diego church paid $3,000 for a four-week run on a billboard in North Carolina apologizing for that state's recent vote supporting an amendment defining marriage as a union only between a man and a woman. The ad reads: "Missiongathering Christian Church is sorry for the narrow-minded, judgmental, deceptive, manipulative actions of those who denied rights and equality to so many in the name of God." Amazingly, there's been no controversy or media attention whatsoever.
