This domestic-violence spot from London's Metropolitan Police is similar to a recent French effort in that we hear rather than see the abuse taking place. Here, as in that earlier spot, a neighbor tries to read despite a loud argument happening next door. If the stupid bookworm cranked up some tunes on an iPod, he wouldn't be bothered so much. Much like the Metropolitan Police's 2009 knife-crime campaign (which won the Grand Prix for Good at Cannes this summer), this spot is interactive—you can click to summon the cops.
