British kids look forward to being drunkards

Wieden + Kennedy put together a new campaign called "Why let drink decide?" for the U.K.'s Department for Children, Schools and Families. It calls on adults to talk with children early on about alcohol before their irresponsible friends get them into trouble. The spot above features some telepathic kids making eerily matter-of-fact predictions about the pressures they will face. Based on what, though? Statistically, at least one of them is going to be a Wheel of Time-reading dweeb who won't have friends to stand in a circle yelling "Chug, chug, chug!" at him or her. Which makes the whole thing sound presumptuous. The point I'm trying to make is that if you man up and talk to your kids about alcohol, steer them away from Robert Jordan, too.
