Language, in many ways, shapes who we are. It is the road map to a culture, identity and our history. However, the continued discrimination against indigenous languages and communities has made it more difficult for native languages to be spoken.

One of those indigenous languages is Quechua, which is used in Ecuador and is gradually disappearing due to the continuous segregation suffered by those who speak it, most of which are farmers. Motivated by the need to bring awareness to the language, Nuestra Siembra Beer and independent agency Fantástica launched a spot, “Yupaychanchick,” to celebrate the Month of the Farmer.
