This past weekend, a Tennessee town called Bean Station attempted to secure a Guinness World Record by cooking the largest pot of beans in history (some 600 gallons). The event drew one unusual yet fitting sponsor in particular: Flat-D Innovations, makers of a “flatulence deodorizer”—a charcoal pad that you put in your underwear. The courageous among you can visit Flat-D’s Web site, which asks, “Are you refraining from living a complete lifestyle—one to the fullest—because of embarrassing, uncontrollable odors or mishaps? We have the solution you’ve been looking for!”
