'Tis the season for Super Bowl ad controversies, real and contrived. I blame GoDaddy for this. Last year saw banned ads from the likes of PETA, married-people dating site AshleyMadison.com and, of course, GoDaddy itself. This year, the parade continues. GoDaddy has already revealed its banned ad. Close on its heels is gay dating site ManCrunch.com. The spot itself is pretty tame, if crudely shot. It's pretty much the opposite of the 2007 Super Bowl commercial for Snickers that showed two manly men horrified at accidental man-on-man intimacy.
