Baby seals take beating in PETA Canada ad

This PETA footage of baby seals being chased and viciously clubbed to death as "O Canada" plays in the background is about as intense and disturbing as it gets. The weak-stomached might have a reaction not unlike that seen in last week's U.K. binge-drinking PSA. Still, I feel some sympathy for the hunters. How else are they supposed to get the job done? Electric chairs are impractical on an ice floe, as are lethal injections, as the poison would freeze solid inside the syringe.
