Airbnb for Gingerbread Houses? Fully Baked Parody Is a Sweet Fundraiser for Homeless

McKinney turns bookings into donations

Inspiration meets innovation at Brandweek, the ultimate marketing experience. Join industry luminaries, rising talent and strategic experts in Phoenix, Arizona this September 23–26 to assess challenges, develop solutions and create new pathways for growth. Register early to save.

Well, this is adorable.

For its pro-bono holiday project, agency McKinney created Gingerbreadbnb.com, a site that mimics Airbnb but lets you book virtual stays at confectionary cabins instead.

All "bookings" become contributions to New York homeless charity Robin Hood. The site notes that "100 percent of your donation goes directly to Robin Hood's initiative to help homeless families off the streets and into safe homes."

Prop design house PropTarts created the gingerbread houses, which were photographed by Tony Pearce.
