Ad campaign seeks WTC memorial donations

Wtc_1 TBWA\Chiat\Day in New York is launching a powerful new national ad campaign to raise the remaining $170 million needed to build the World Trade Center memorial and museum. Here’s one ad from the campaign. See others (TV, radio and print) over at the Web site of the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation. The ads show images of the makeshift memorials erected in the immediate aftermath of the attacks, and use the line, “We needed one then. We need one now.” The tagline is, “It’s time.” The Port Authority agreed to take over the building of the memorial and museum yesterday.
