If TV seasons had theme songs, the anthem for 2011-12 should be Queen Latifah’s “Ladies First.”

According to Nielsen, 15 of the 19 new broadcast TV series that bowed between Sept. 13 and Sept. 28 are skewing heavily female. Only two series are drawing more male: Fox’s Terra Nova premiered to a 3.5 rating among men 18-49 and a 2.7 with the female half of the demo, while NBC’s Whitney notched a 3.4 M 18-49 rating and a 3.1
