Another media company is returning to upfronts week, following Disney’s earlier announcement that it will resume the annual May tradition, which was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
A ViacomCBS spokesperson confirmed that the company will also be back in its usual upfronts week spot—the afternoon of Wednesday, May 19—holding a unified ViacomCBS virtual presentation.
The move came hours after Adweek broke the news that Disney had become the first company to set its upfronts week return for 2021, as part of a three-pronged approach this year.
