Univision and Katz Radio Group named Chris Munoz executive vp and general manager of Univision Radio National Sales (URNS). Munoz, an 11-year Univision veteran who previously served as senior VP overseeing network radio revenue, replaces Laura Hagan.
In addition, Peter Kakoyiannis has been promoted to senior vp of national sales for URNS, reporting to Munoz. He joined URNS in 2002 as vp and general sales manager. Both appointments are effective on November 1.
“Chris has built a strong track record and I am delighted that he will take the helm of Univision Radio National Sales,” added Katz Radio Group president Mark Gray.
