While Owen Wilson Dates Himself did not win the 2017 Tribeca Snapchat Shorts competition, Fishbowl wanted to make sure this hilarious concoction receives the proper amount of runner-up love. From the Woody Allen-like jazzy period music to some ego-tastic end credits, it’s a winner.
Conceived by and co-starring Brooklyn actress-comedienne Anna Roisman, the 90-second romantic-comedy riff is most notable for the spot-on vocal impression of the other Wilson (Jared Hacker). Roisman is solid in matching blond wig and nose-piece, but it’s her co-star who steals the show.
