TNT, TBS and truTV GM Brett Weitz Exits Following WarnerMedia-Discovery Merger

Brett Weitz is the latest top WarnerMedia exec to be exiting his role as a result of last month’s WarnerMedia-Discovery merger.

Weitz, who was GM of Turner networks TNT, TBS and truTV since 2019, had been set to report to Kathleen Finch, chairman and chief content officer, U.S. Networks Group, as part of the new Warner Bros. Discovery leadership structure announced last month. Instead, his position has been eliminated after Finch restructured the U.S. Networks Group.
