Sports streaming service DAZN has named Pete Oliver as its global chief marketing officer, joining from British communications giant BT as the business aims to build momentum and deepen its customer relationships.

With its headquarters in London, DAZN claims to stream around 1 billion hours of sports each year across more than 200 countries and territories with the rights to more than 700 sports brands. Those include soccer competitions such as the Champions League, the English Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga.
