Saatchi & Saatchi Got a Special Shout-Out in This Netflix Series Thanks to Chris Pine

Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later had a fun flashback

In the penultimate episode of the sequel to Wet Hot American Summer, a cult classic comedy starring dozens of before-they-were-really-famous actors, a character’s convoluted backstory takes a dive into the advertising world.

The original cast includes comedic actors like Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Michael Ian Black, Janeane Garofalo and Molly Shannon as well as actors you might know from more traditional media like Christopher Meloni and Bradley Cooper.

In the 2015 Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, which functioned as a prequel to the original movie, Chris Pine joined the cast as a well-meaning musician who met an untimely end.

Thanks to a twist of comedic fate, audiences saw his character, Eric, return in Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.
