Richard Beckman Named CEO of e5 Global Media

Richard Beckman, the former top sales executive for Condé Nast, Jan. 12 has been named CEO of e5 Global Media, a newly formed company whose assets include AdweekMedia (which includes Adweek, Mediaweek and Brandweek), The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard.
 
Beckman resigned the same day from his current position as president of the Fairchild Fashion Group, Condé Nast’s fashion B2B unit. A Condé Nast rep said she expected a replacement to be named soon.
 
Prior to moving to Fairchild in March 2009, Beckman was president of the Condé Nast Media Group and chief marketing officer for Condé Nast Publications, where he shepherded high-profile, multiplatform advertising programs Fashion Rocks and Movies Rock.
