Household Rating/Share CBS: 4.0/ 8, NBC: 2.5/ 5, ABC: 2.1/ 4, Fox: 1.8/ 3, CW: 0.6/ 1 Total Viewers: CBS: 6.35 million, NBC: 4.35, ABC: 3.89, Fox: 2.85, CW: 957,000 Adults 18-49: NBC: 1.6 rating/5 share, ABC: 1.0/ 4, CBS: 1.0/ 3, Fox: 0.7/ 3, CW: 0.4/ 1 Note: Any prior rating results are based on the final nationals. Since the level of DVR penetration has increased from 33 percent at this same point last year to approximately 38 percent at present, the overall results may be negatively impacted. Friday’s Winners: Nothing Friday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution (ABC) Ratings Breakdown: It was a Friday of shared low-rated leadership, with CBS the most-watched network and NBC No. 1 among key adults 18-49. CBS opened with another original episode of Canadian drama Flashpoint (Viewers: #1, 5.90 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.0/ 4 at 8 p.m.), followed by repeats of CSI: NY (Viewers: #1, 6.53 million; A18-49: #2, 1.1/ 4) and Blue Bloods (Viewers: #1, 6.63 million; A18-49: #3, 0.9/ 3) from 9-11 p.m. Next fall, new CBS drama A Gifted Man, which faces an uphill battle, will lead-in returning CSI: NY and Blue Bloods. Game 5 of The NHL Stanley Cup Finals on NBC, Boston at Vancouver, averaged 4.35 million viewers (#2), with a dominant 1.6/ 5 among adults 18-49 from 8-11 p.m. This fall, the final season of relocated Chuck at 8 p.m. leads into new drama Grimm and a one-hour edition of Dateline from 9-11 p.m. Given the slim odds of Grimm finding an audience, chances are Dateline will be expanded back to two hours by November. Elsewhere, ABC populated this second Friday in June with a repeat of Shark Tank (Viewers: #2t, 3.90 million; A18-49: #2t, 1.0/ 4), canceled Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution (Viewers: #4, 2.59 million; A18-49: #3, 0.8/ 3) and long-running 20/20 (Viewers: #2, 5.17 million; A18-49: #2, 1.2/ 4). Next fall on ABC will feature relocated Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Shark Tank from 8-10 p.m., followed by 20/20 at 10 p.m. Fox aired encore telecasts of Bones (Viewers: #4, 3.10 million; A18-49: #4, 0.8/ 3) and canceled drama Lie to Me (Viewers: #3, 2.60 million; A18-49: #4, 0.7/ 2). And The CW closed the night with repeats of concluded Smallville (Viewers: #5, 979,000; A18-49: #5, 0.4/ 2) and Supernatural (Viewers: #5, 935,000; A18-49: #5, 0.3/ 1). Next fall, Fox remains intact with Kitchen Nightmares and Fringe, while The CW moves sophomore Nikita to 8 p.m. (into returning Supernatural). Saturday’s Winners: Nothing Saturday’s Losers (excluding repeats): Chaos (CBS), Movie: Field of Vision (NBC) Ratings Breakdown: It was a Saturday of split leadership, with CBS first in total viewers (at under 5 million viewers) and Fox No. 1 among adults 18-49 (at a 1.3 rating in the demo). CBS aired another burn-off episode of Chaos (Viewers: #2, 3.23 million; A18-49:#3t, 0.5/ 2 at 8 p.m.), followed by repeats of NCIS (Viewers: #1, 4.60 million; A18-49: #3, 0.7/ 2) and 48 Hours Mystery (Viewers: #1, 5.61 million; A18-49: #1, 1.2/ 4) from 9-11p.m. Fox aired its perennial combination of Cops (original and repeat – Viewers: #1, avg. 3.64 million; A18-49: #1, avg. 1.2/ 5) and America’s Most Wanted (Viewers: #2, 4.52 million; A18-49: #1, 1.4/ 5), which will be downgraded to a series of quarterly specials, from 8-10 p.m. Over at NBC, original made-for TV movie Field of Vision was, as expected, a bust, with 2.69 million viewers (#3) and a last-place 0.5/ 2 among adults 18-49 from 8-10 p.m. Always be wary of an original movie that airs on a Saturday in the summer season. That led into a repeat of canceled Law & Order: Los Angeles at 3.57 million viewers (#2) and a 0.7/ 2 in the demo (#3) at 10 p.m. ABC populated the evening with two repeat episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (Viewers: #4: avg. 2.61 million; A18-49: #2t, avg. 0.7/ 3 from 8-10 p.m.) and an encore telecast of summer spinoff Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition (Viewers: #3, 2.69 million; A18-49: #2, 0.9/ 3 at 10 p.m.). Yesterday’s Winners: The NBA Finals, Game 6 (ABC) Yesterday’s Losers: Nothing Ratings Breakdown: It was an easy overnight Sunday victory for ABC care of the sixth and final game of The NBA Finals, Mavericks vs. Heat, which rose to a series-high 15.2 rating/24 share for the prime-time portion from 8-11 p.m. Comparably, the final game of Boston vs. Los Angeles on The NBA Finals one year earlier (on Thurs., June 17, 2010) was slightly higher at a 16.1 rating/26 share in the overnights (which translated into 28.2 million viewers and an 11.4 rating/33 share among adults 18-49). Keep in mind, again, that results for any live sporting event are always approximate. Here is the half-hour breakdown: NBA Finals, Game 6 (ABC) 8:00 p.m.: 10.3/16 (#1) 8:20 p.m.: 13.5/22 (#1) 9:00 p.m.: 14.3/23 (#1) 9:30 p.m.: 15.6/24 (#1) 10:00 p.m.: 18.4/28 (#1) 10:30 p.m.: 18.9/30 (#1) ABC opened the evening with another prime-time edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live (#2: 2.7/ 5 at 7 p.m.), followed by the half-hour Pre-Game at a second-place 3.8/ 7 at 7:30 p.m. Over at CBS, The 65th Annual Tony Awards, which is never a ratings grabber, scored a 5.3/ 9 in the overnights from 8-11 p.m. The bigger winner: nine trophies for The Book of Mormon, including Best Musical. Earlier in the evening on CBS was older-skewing granddaddy 60 Minutes at a dominant 6.8/13 from 7-8 p.m. NBC populated this second Sunday in June with encore telecasts of Dateline (#3: 2.6/ 5), Minute to Win It (#3: 1.9/ 3), and a two-hour edition of America’s Got Talent (#3: 3.2/ 5 from 9-11 p.m.). Also in repeats was Fox with its 7-10 p.m. combination of American Dad (#4: 1.2/ 2), Bob’s Burgers (#4: 1.1/ 2), The Simpsons (#3: 1.8/ 3), The Cleveland Show (#4: 1.7/ 3), Family Guy (#4: 2.3/ 4) and another installment of American Dad (#4: 2.1/ 3). As a reminder, Sunday next fall will feature three new series—ABC dramas Once Upon a Time and Pan Am, and Fox animated comedy Allen Gregory, which is sandwiched between The Simpsons and Family Guy. Current Fox 8:30 p.m. occupant Bob’s Burgers shifts to 9:30 p.m. in midseason. Led by basketball, ABC more than doubled the No. 2 network for the evening among adults 18-49 (two hours of So You Think You Can Dance on Fox). The annual awards show recognizes outstanding television programming throughout the season in a variety of categories including news and information, youth, drama, and comedy achievements. This year’s 27th Awards show will include a category for reality television. The Looney Tunes Show Interactive Event: Cartoon Network, the home of must-see animation, has announced an upcoming multicity interactive promoting The Looney Tunes Show. The tour will travel to Boston, Chicago, Indianapolis, Miami, New York, Phoenix, Sacramento, and San Francisco bringing The Looney Tunes to life in an interactive experience. Tracy Morgan Issues Apology: Comedian and 30 Rock co-star Tracy Morgan, who created a stir of controversy following anti-gay remarks during a recent comedy show, has issued a written apology. "I want to apologize to my fans and the gay and lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others.
