ViacomCBS’ Super Bowl broadcast was the lowest-watched NFL championship game in 14 years. But the game, the most livestreamed NFL game to date, bolstered sign-ups to the company’s new streaming service, Paramount+ (formerly known as CBS All Access). That helped grow the company’s overall total streaming subscribers to 36 million by the end of the first quarter of 2021, a 63% increase year-over-year.
