Netflix Raises Monthly Prices for the First Time Since 2020

Standard plan will cost $15.49, premium tier upped to $20

Streaming giant Netflix is raising its prices in the U.S. and Canada.

The service upped its prices in the U.S. by $1 or $2 beginning today, increasing the cost of its basic plan by $1 to $10 a month, while the standard plan jumps from $14 a month to $15.49. Netflix’s premium tier will cost $2 more per month, going from $18 to $20.

Canadian subscribers will also see price increases, though the streamer’s basic tier will stay the same price.
