It took a few months, but the last remaining major media company that held out on committing to an upfronts week return this May—NBCUniversal—is back in the fold.
NBCUniversal said today it will also resume the annual May tradition for marketers—which was canceled last year due to the pandemic—and return to its usual upfronts week spot on May 17 with a virtual event, scheduled for noon ET.
The company said it will “reimagine its upfront experience” this year, similar to its 2020 approach: It reunited
