NBCUniversal Adds More Content, Advertising to ReachTV Airport Network

Deal comes as air travel is at an all-time high since the pandemic

NBCUniversal is expanding its presence on airport network ReachTV, striking a new deal to provide more content and help sell advertising on the service.

ReachTV is available in more than 90 airports in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., a footprint that has grown since one of its rivals, CNN Airport Network, shut down in March.

Top line

As part of the deal, NBCUniversal—which has provided news, sports and entertainment content to ReachTV since 2019—will add content from its late night shows, E! News, Bravo and Fandango in Q3.

Additionally, NBCUniversal’s ad sales team will work with ReachTV to sell advertising on the platform, opening it up to more marketers.

Between the lines

The deal comes as air travel is spiking for the first time since the pandemic began.
