Michelle Lee, who has helped modernize and diversify Allure since becoming the magazine’s editor in chief in 2015, has announced she’ll be leaving the Condé Nast publication to join Netflix.
Her role at the streaming service will be vp of editorial and publishing, in which she’ll be focused on platforms such as Netflix’s social media channels, podcasts and print publication Queue, launched in 2019.
She’ll be reporting to Netflix CMO Bozoma Saint John in the new role, which she announced via a Twitter thread would begin in late July after spending a month helping Allure transition to new leadership.
