The network treats HBO Max as a different service, diversifying as viewership changes

HBO and WarnerMedia’s streaming platform, HBO Max, enjoy significant momentum with groundbreaking and award-winning programming amid an increasingly crowded entertainment landscape and considerable changes in viewing habits.

Casey Bloys, chief content officer at HBO, joined Adweek’s Convergent TV Summit to discuss the brand’s strategies for producing high-quality content for subscribers. 

Keeping up with viewing habits

HBO Max allows the network to appeal to both its longstanding, loyal audience and a new generation of viewers. 

“HBO will continue doing what it’s doing,” Bloys said.
