A day after news broke that Marianne Gambelli would be heading up ad sales for the part of 21st Century Fox that will be spun off ahead of its $71.3 billion merger with Disney—tentatively known as “New Fox”—the company announced its leadership team for the new company.

Lachlan Murdoch, who will serve as chairman and CEO of New Fox—which will include Fox Broadcasting, Fox Sports 1, Fox News and Fox Business Network—unveiled the team today.

As it revealed the new executive lineup, Fox confirmed that Gambelli, who is currently president of ad sales for Fox News and Fox Business Network, will become president of ad sales for Fox.

Joe Marchese, now president of advertising revenue for Fox Networks Group, is expected to depart the company after the Disney deal closes, but will continue in his role until then.

Eric Shanks, currently president, COO and executive producer of Fox Sports, has been named CEO of Fox Sports. Mike Biard, who was president of distribution for Fox Networks Group, will be promoted to president of operations and distribution for Fox. Paul Cheesbrough, currently CTO, will add head of direct to consumer platforms to his title. And Steve Tomsic, who now serves as evp, finance and deputy CFO, will be Fox’s CFO.

All promotions will be effective once the Disney deal closes and New Fox is spun off.

“We are fortunate to be able to continue working with these enormously talented executives who have helped make our businesses the incredible successes they are today,” said Murdoch in a statement. “Collectively they bring to Fox the vision, entrepreneurial spirit and proven track records to position Fox to seize future opportunities for its leading and deeply resonant brands across sports, news and entertainment.”

They will join the previously announced team, including John Nallen (who will be named COO of Fox), Suzanne Scott (who will continue as CEO of Fox News and Fox Business Network), Jack Abernethy (continuing as CEO of Fox Television Stations) and Viet Dinh (chief legal and policy officer for Fox).

The company did not announce leadership for Fox Broadcasting today, but Gary Newman, current Fox Television Group CEO and chairman, is expected to oversee that network, New Fox, while his counterpart Dana Walden is likely headed to Disney, along with 21st Century Fox president Peter Rice.

Gambelli and Marchese stepped into their respective ad sales roles for the company in May 2017. Gambelli, who was previously Horizon Media’s chief investment officer, replaced Paul Rittenberg, who stepped down after more than two decades on the job overseeing sales for Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.

Before leaving for Horizon in 2012, Gambelli had spent 22 years at NBC, most recently as president of sales and marketing.
