The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has never been shy about anointing a large dose of freshman TV contenders as Golden Globes nominees. That tradition continued today as new series like Barry, Homecoming, The Kominsky Method and Killing Eve snagged major nominations for the 76th Annual Golden Globes Awards.

The year’s Globes nominees for best drama series are The Americans (FX), Bodyguard (Netflix), Homecoming (Amazon), Killing Eve (BBC America) and Pose (FX). Facing off as best musical or comedy series are Barry (HBO), The Good Place (NBC), Kidding (Showtime), The Kominsky Method (Netflix) and The Marvelous Mrs.
