Jim Keller Exits Hulu to Lead Discovery+ Ad Sales

He’ll oversee Discovery’s U.S. digital and advanced advertising

Just a few days after Discovery Inc. unveiled its upcoming global streaming service, Discovery+, the company has hired one of Hulu’s top ad sales execs to oversee U.S. ad sales for the new platform.

Jim Keller—who had been vp, national ad sales at Hulu—is leaving that streamer to join Discovery Inc. as evp, digital ad sales and advanced advertising. He will be based in New York and report to Jon Steinlauf, Discovery’s chief U.S. ad sales officer.
