As broadcasters continue their search for foreign content, Fox is developing two projects based on Argentinean formats. The network has given a pilot order to Eva Adams, based on the telenovela LaLola; and still in the script phase is drama The Pretenders.

Eva Adams centers on a womanizer, who miraculously turns into a woman himself, and learns what a creep he’s been.

Produced by Sony Pictures TV, and based on the Dori Media Intl. format, the project was adapted by Kevin Falls (NBC’s Journeyman), who will executive produce, along with Jamie Tarses.

Pretenders,
