Fox Corp. Aims to Make Free Streamer Tubi a 'Billion-Dollar Business'

Service's revenue expected to double in 2021, clearing $300 million

Less than a year after Fox Corp. acquired free, ad-supported streamer Tubi, executives are pointing to growth at the streamer as a promising business path forward.

In a call with investors Tuesday, Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch said the streaming service would surpass $300 million in revenue in 2021, more than double its 2020 numbers.

“As we continue to invest in Tubi, we believe it will be the AVOD platform of choice for viewers and digital advertisers alike and become a larger piece of the broader Fox Corp.
