Fargo Will Return for a Fifth Season on FX

FX will be taking a fifth trip to Fargo.

The network has ordered a fifth season of Noah Hawley’s Emmy-winning anthology series, inspired by the Coen Brothers’ 1996 film, it said today ahead of its presentation at the Television Critics Association’s virtual winter press tour.

Fargo’s fifth season will be set in 2019, and ask, “when is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?” according to FX. The show is produced by MGM Television and FX Productions
