The nation's largest media, entertainment and tech companies, including Disney, CBS, Apple, Facebook and Google, are pulling together in asking the Supreme Court to overturn the the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

A total of 278 companies and organizations filed the amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief with the Supreme Court of the United States, which will hear oral arguments in U.S. v. Windsor on March 27. The Obama Administration also filed a brief asking the Supreme Court to overturn the law.
