Ellen Digital, a joint venture between Ellen DeGeneres and Warner Bros., is focusing on serving the super fan. During its 2021 NewFronts presentation on Thursday, the media group rolled out what it’s calling three new “super brands” targeted at that group: Smile, Bubble and Sage.
“We started to really look at the pockets of superfan within this massive audience. We’ve seen that there’s three super distinct categories of fans that have been really just super passionate communities,” Nathan Brown, general manager of Ellen Digital, told Adweek.
