The Dr. Oz Show Will End Next Month, Replaced by Spinoff Series The Good Dish

The move follows Dr. Mehmet Oz's decision to enter Pennsylvania's Republican U.S. Senate primary

Following Dr. Mehmet Oz’s official announcement earlier this month that he would be entering the packed Republican U.S. Senate primary in Pennsylvania, Sony Pictures Television has officially pulled the plug on his The Dr. Oz Show. The celebrity physician’s long-running, syndicated daytime show will end its run on Jan. 14.

In its place, Sony will air spinoff series The Good Dish, hosted by Oz’s daughter Daphne.

The one-hour syndicated show will debut on Jan. 17. Station groups across the country, including Fox, Hearst, Nexstar, Gray and Sinclair have picked up The Good Dish in over 90% of the U.S.,
